Today was Coast Guard Day! Why did the Coast Guard's Birthday have to be smack dab in the middle of a heat wave I don't know!!! We really had a lot of fun, but it was sooooo hot! They had a bouncey slide and house for the kids, they had live music, good food and cake!!! They also gave each of us a ticket for a door prize and Tom and I both one!!! We really did have a lot of fun even though it was too hot! They had it at Walter Hall Park in League City. Channel 2 News was there interviewing people, not for CG, just random people about the heat and Luis and Rosie's daughter Monica might be on the news tonight! So, I will have to look for her! They were right by where Tom was playing softball, so who knows he may be there too! |
Looks like the boys had fun and you can tell it was so very HOT!
