Behind the Times

So....since I am a blog stalker:)  I keep finding all of these awesome things and I find that I am so behind the times!  I kept seeing these pictures on other peoples blogs and I was thinking how do they make them look like that?  Well someone finally put it on their blog today and I am so excited so I can finally do it!  Oh....just another thing for me to get addicted to:)  Well this is a picture of Garrett this morning....this is him minus his glasses because he just got contacts yesterday!  My big boy....who by the way is turning double digits next month, got contacts, and put them in all by himself this morning, without me....he is growing up way too fast!

Crazy Summer Fun!!!

So, we have been having some crazy summer fun here lately! Well for my anniversary my sweet hubby got me my beautiful new fridge! I love it!!! We decided to change our office into a playroom for the boys....we started that by buying a couch and new tv(although my friend Toni told me it did not look like a "playroom")....so maybe it's a game room!!!! We hung out with cousins and last but not least we got casts.....did I say casts...why yes I did. We have had it on for 2 weeks now and we have had 3. The one pictured is the first one....we have had all colors now....red, blue and black! We have had a hole, and cracked it, but I guess that is what happens when you run, and ride your scooter and jump on the trampoline with a cast on your leg! Still not sure what is wrong...we go Thursday to the Orthopedic and let him have a look, but at least we are walking better! Summer sure is coming to an end quickly!

I'm Loving This

Well....I must be behind the times, because I just found Picasa and I love it! But it is one of those things that I have to be REALLY careful about because I could become addicted to it very easily! But it really is fun making little collages!!! So this is really just for fun!!!

So...my little active one that is always on the go who we thought had a stress fracture in his foot...well we really don't know what he has! We went back 3 weeks later and the said the radiologist didn't see a stress fracture. I said well something is going on because it is not any better and the DR. agreed once she watched him walk. I mean it is terrible. He turns his foot in like pigeon toed it is terrible and he gets tired walking because he is having to over compensate because it hurts so much. Anyway we are going today to see a Sports Medicine DR. Why you say....well the Pediatric Orthopedic kept cancelling and they said that the Sports Medicine guy would be good to see too, so we are heading out there in just a little while. He has been walking like this since April......we need to figure it out!!!!

4th Fest!

So....I guess Tom's new position does come with a few perks!  Last night we decided to go downtown and watch awesome concerts and awesome fireworks, and eat awesome free food all in a VIP area at the 4th Fest!  Tom didn't get to hang with us because well he had to be everywhere.....but some of our friends were there, so we hung with them and had a blast!!!

So I am Embracing the Camera today!  It's getting you out from behind the camera and in a picture....so here we go!

Since Garrett is getting sooo big he rarely wants me to hug him or kiss him!  So to pose with me for a picture pleassssssse, but this was a rare sweet moment with my biggest boy!
